Kung Karl School is located in Kungsäter, about 35 kilometers northeast of Varberg. It is a F–6 school with approximately 80 students and an integrated after-school program, surrounded by a vast and scenic environment. Together, they form the heart of this picturesque village.

After completing grade 6, students continue their education at Lindberg School for grades 7–9. Our students appreciate varied teaching and want the opportunity to influence how they present their knowledge. This is something that the autumn work in the faculty will focus on.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a craft teacher for grades 3-5, you will work with teaching, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. The work is carried out according to established goals and guidelines. You will work alongside a qualified colleague, and together you will design a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You challenge and support the students so that they achieve good academic results. The work is performed in collaboration with other educators, student health, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is in focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us at Varberg Municipality, you play a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for the students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on the teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions, and resting on science and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be a certified craft teacher for the early years of primary school.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific principles with an exploratory approach.

You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on the students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
